What is the Test?
The Calcium/Creatinine Ratio, Urine Spot Test measures the ratio of calcium to creatinine in a spot urine sample. This ratio is used to assess how the body is excreting calcium and can provide insight into disorders related to calcium metabolism.
Test Procedure:
You will be provided with a container to collect a mid-stream urine sample. Allow a small amount of urine to flow into the toilet before collecting the sample. Collect the mid-stream urine in the provided container. Once you have collected the urine sample, follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider for labeling and storage.
